withdrew their services
from the Navajo Nation.
On September 30, S.N.A.P. ended
their New Mexico and Native American programs.
The First Annual "Rescue the Rez Dogs" Benefit
became the last.
Today on the Navajo Reservation, at times more than 100 dogs are euthanized per week. In addition, there are more than 30,000 reports per year of people bitten by dogs.
